Job Summary
The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University is seeking applications for two full-time academic professional track (non-tenure) positions at the rank of Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in general chemistry and organic addition to their teaching the successful applicants will have a strong commitment to undergraduate chemistry education and student success. All appointees are expected to be committed to teaching of the highest quality. These positions are a 9-month full-time academic appointment with an anticipated start date of August 1 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year with a possibility of renewal beyond that period.
These positions require a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field prior to the start date. We are seeking candidates with potential to demonstrate excellence in the classroom and in mentoring students outside the classroom.
