Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities:
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
Accounting & Financial Support
- Support monthâend and yearâend close activities
- Perform account reconciliations (clearing accounts accruals prepaid expenses etc.)
- Review and resolve accounting discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams
- Assist with audit requests by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
Operations & Vendor Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for accounting and payable related questions from operations
- Field inquiries from vendors regarding account status documentation and issue resolution
- Research and resolve payment coding or account discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather missing information and close open items
- Exercise judgment to escalate issues appropriately and recommend solutions
Process & Controls
- Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements to reduce rework
- Support documentation of workflows and accounting practices
- Assist with special projects and process enhancements as the department grows
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 3 years of experience in accounting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft products particularly Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively
