Job Title: Network Administrator Advanced Location: Cayce SC 29033 (Travel required across South Carolina during business hours) Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract (40 hours/week)
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support enterprise network and identity infrastructure initiatives within a growing IT environment. This role involves deployment troubleshooting and maintenance of advanced networking solutions including SD-WAN PKI and secure authentication services. The ideal candidate is self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of working independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support enterprise network and identity initiatives including SD-WAN PKI lifecycle management and secure authentication services
Monitor troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity and authentication services
Support Windows-based systems and mobile device connectivity (including Apple devices)
Deploy configure and maintain network infrastructure and identity services
Perform network installations upgrades and system enhancements
Maintain and update network documentation diagrams and design artifacts
Monitor and manage ticketing systems for network and connectivity issues
Provide technical support to IT and non-IT staff for network-related issues
Assist with testing validation and implementation of network solutions
Follow change management processes and maintain regular status reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network Security and Infrastructure groups
Support physical network tasks such as racking equipment working on ladders and lifting up to 40 lbs
Required Skills:
3 years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure and LAN administration
3 years of experience installing configuring and troubleshooting switches and wireless access points
3 years of experience with SD-WAN PKI and secure authentication services
3 years of experience troubleshooting network connectivity on Windows and mobile devices
Experience creating maintaining and interpreting network documentation and diagrams
Preferred Skills:
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Cisco or Microsoft (active/inactive acceptable)
Cisco Networking Academy or equivalent training/bootcamp experience
Additional Skills & Requirements:
Ability to perform physical network work including lifting up to 40 lbs and working on ladders
Valid drivers license with ability to travel across the state
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Education:
Associates Degree in a related field OR
High School Diploma with equivalent work experience
