Summary

Assists the Nutrition Clinicians in meal pass as well as tray retrieval.Is responsible forstocking andmaintainingall nourishment rooms and day spaces.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Takesinventoryonnourishment rooms and day spaces.

• Collaborates with St. Marys Nutrition Services department to obtain stocking supplies.

• Maintains adequate inventory of nourishments and supplies for patients and families on the nursing unit.

• Willbe responsible forcleaning and monitoring temperatures of all refrigerators and freezers on the inpatient unit

• Assist the Nutrition clinician in delivering meal trays as well as tray retrieval after the meal hour.

• Follows exposure/infection control safety and equipment management hazard and quality improvement/risk management plans. Washes in and out of all patient rooms.

• Treats all patients families employees and visitors with respect dignity and courtesy andimmediatelyaddresses customer concerns appropriately.
