Tobin School Westwood is seeking an Early Childhood Program Director

The Tobin School Westwood was founded in 1995 providing care for 60 children per day. We are a small program with 3 classrooms School Day Pre Kindergarten (20 children 3 teachers) Full Day Pre Kindergarten (2o children and 3 full-time teachers) and Full Day Junior Kindergarten(18 children and 3 full-time teachers). We are open year-round Monday - Friday 7:15am - 5:45pm and all children attend 5 days/week. We are licensed by the state of Massachusetts and are proudly accredited by NAEYC.

Position

We will be looking for a new Program Director to begin in the summer of 2026.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (Masters in Education preferred)

Director 1 EEC Certified

Required Skills

Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications

Familiar with or ability to learn Constant Contact

At least three years experience a Director at a licensed and accredited program

Extremely detailed and accuracy-oriented

Exceptional work ethic

Ability to create a warm welcoming and positive culture

Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well with others collaborate and remain calm under pressure Team-oriented player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently Flexibility and willingness to assist teachers when needed

Comfortable receiving direction and providing others with direction Warm engaging personality with a focus on quality care for children Self-motivated

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time salaried position. Competitive salary range commensurate with expertise and experience.
