Job Summary:We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care services across patient populations. The role involves delivering both critical and non-critical care using advanced cardiopulmonary techniques in a clinical setting while maintaining compliance with professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess treat and monitor patients cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer and manage invasive and non-invasive respiratory therapies
Evaluate patient responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans disease management and home care
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient care decisions
Participate in training mentoring and onboarding of new staff and students
Attend departmental meetings and maintain competency standards
Take on leadership responsibilities such as charge therapist when assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
NICU experience required
Strong understanding of critical care and cardiopulmonary management
Preferred Qualifications:
13 years of clinical experience in respiratory care
Membership with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) preferred
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Active state license to practice respiratory care (required)
BLS (American Heart Association) required
ACLS (American Heart Association) required
NRP (preferred especially for NICU settings)
