Nurse Supervisor Maternal Child Health

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor with strong leadership capabilities to oversee the Maternal Child Health Department. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership experience to drive patient care excellence optimize staff performance and ensure operational efficiency across the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan develop and implement programs to enhance patient care quality and staff performance
- Monitor and evaluate nursing performance across multiple units
- Collaborate with nurse managers to assess operations and implement process improvements
- Lead and support corrective action plans as necessary
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for:
- Medication errors
- Patient counseling and care documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and clinical best practices
- Provide leadership mentorship and strategic guidance across the Maternal Child Health department
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of nursing experience
- At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York)
- Primary Source Verification through NYSED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
