- Days: Saturday & Sunday
- Hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 AM
- Weekly Hours: 32 hours (16-hour shifts)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract opportunity in a fast-paced radiology environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures following established protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality
- Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques for optimal imaging results
- Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
- Administer contrast/radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation logs and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Follow radiation safety guidelines including ALARA principles
- Perform quality assurance and safety testing
- Manage patient imaging data and ensure availability for radiologist interpretation
- Verify and handle radiopharmaceutical deliveries and dosage accuracy
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols
- Ability to assess and respond to patient needs before during and after procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT Certification (Radiography & CT) Required
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T) Required
- BLS Certification (AHA) Required
- Certification to administer injections
