Hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 AM
Weekly Hours: 32 hours (16-hour shifts)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract opportunity in a fast-paced radiology environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT procedures following established protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality
Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques for optimal imaging results
Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
Administer contrast/radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols
Maintain accurate documentation logs and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
Follow radiation safety guidelines including ALARA principles
Perform quality assurance and safety testing
Manage patient imaging data and ensure availability for radiologist interpretation
Verify and handle radiopharmaceutical deliveries and dosage accuracy
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols
Ability to assess and respond to patient needs before during and after procedures
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
Education & Experience
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT Certification (Radiography & CT) Required
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T) Required
BLS Certification (AHA) Required
Certification to administer injections
