The Occupational Therapist (OT) will provide ECSE services to infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) within the natural environment.
This position will be on the stretch calendar.

Job Summary:

Coach and support families in the childs natural environments using the Primary Service Provider (PSP) model.
Partner with a transdisciplinary team through joint visits consultation and role release to provide unified family support
Cultivate trust and rapport with families and staff to maintain a positive supportive environment.
Maintain accurate timely records of home visits progress notes and annual reviews.
Facilitate IFSP IEP and Progress Report meetings.
Complete evaluations and assessment of children for Part C and Part B services.
Carry out responsibilities as defined by master contract and supervisor.
Travel to homes and daycares is required and reimbursed per district policies

Qualifications:

Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist
Strong academic background
Ability to relate positively to students staff and community
Experience working with infants toddlers and preschoolers with disabilities
Knowledge of working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations and families
Experience with completing Part C and Part B due process requirements
Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally ethnically racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

Compensation / Benefits:
