Schedule
Day shift with rotating start times:
- 6:00 AM 3:30 PM
- 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- 7:45 AM 4:00 PM
Additional schedule details:
- No weekends
- No weekly call
- Holiday call only shared between all staff
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare calculate and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using appropriate equipment and protocols.
- Position patients properly to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Explain procedures obtain patient history and help patients feel comfortable throughout the exam.
- Monitor radiation exposure and follow radiation safety standards for patients staff and self.
- Process and enhance images for radiologist interpretation.
- Perform quality control checks and assist with equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with department policies and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with radiologists physicians nurses and other imaging team members to support efficient patient care.
Qualifications
- Nuclear Medicine Technology certification required or eligible based on facility requirements.
- Previous nuclear medicine experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety imaging protocols and patient care standards.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment.
- Strong communication organization and attention to detail.
- Commitment to quality safety and excellent patient experience.
