About the Role
The CT Technologist will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while supporting clinical excellence regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. This position combines hands-on imaging responsibilities with leadership in radiation safety quality assurance accreditation readiness and workflow coordination.
Responsibilities include performing routine and STAT CT exams ensuring optimal image quality assisting with CT-guided procedures and administering contrast in compliance with California regulations. The role also oversees radiation safety programs supports accreditation processes manages equipment performance and QA documentation and serves as a key liaison during regulatory inspections. Additionally this individual will help coordinate daily imaging operations support team coverage and mentor other technologists to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
- Current California CRT license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- California Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Current ARRT(R) certification required
- ARRT(CT) certification required (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
- Valid California venipuncture certification for radiologic technologists
- Documented participation in Image Gently and Image Wisely initiatives
- Ongoing compliance with CE requirements (24 credits every two years)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of California Title 17 and radiation safety regulations
- Advanced CT imaging expertise and dose optimization experience
- Experience with accreditation processes QA programs and regulatory readiness
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative clinical environment
- Strong communication problem-solving and leadership skills
