About the Role
The CT Technologist will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging while supporting clinical excellence regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. This position combines hands-on imaging responsibilities with leadership in radiation safety quality assurance accreditation readiness and workflow coordination.
Responsibilities include performing routine and STAT CT exams ensuring optimal image quality assisting with CT-guided procedures and administering contrast in compliance with California regulations. The role also oversees radiation safety programs supports accreditation processes manages equipment performance and QA documentation and serves as a key liaison during regulatory inspections. Additionally this individual will help coordinate daily imaging operations support team coverage and mentor other technologists to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
Requirements
Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program
Current California CRT license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
California Fluoroscopy Permit required
Current ARRT(R) certification required
ARRT(CT) certification required (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)
Valid California venipuncture certification for radiologic technologists
Documented participation in Image Gently and Image Wisely initiatives
Ongoing compliance with CE requirements (24 credits every two years)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of California Title 17 and radiation safety regulations
Advanced CT imaging expertise and dose optimization experience
Experience with accreditation processes QA programs and regulatory readiness
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative clinical environment
Strong communication problem-solving and leadership skills
