Job Summary

American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers in Wilmington NC. Wilmington sits at the southern end of I-40 on the Carolina coast a strong starting point for drivers running Eastern OTR lanes with freight moving up and down I-95 and the Atlantic corridor.

New drivers are welcome. If you have your Class A CDL and have completed your school hours a fully paid training program is ready for you.

Training:

46 weeks fully paid with a dedicated mentor
Live freight from day one real loads real routes
ELD HOS inspections and daily operations all covered
Weekly pay throughout training
Solo at $0.56 CPM after completion

What the Job Looks Like:

No-touch dry van freight
About 60% drop and hook
miles per week
Eastern routes with consistent year-round freight
Day and night dispatch

Pay:

$0.56$0.65 CPM based on experience
Most drivers earn $1200$1500 weekly
Stop layover and breakdown pay included
Six-month pay increase
$300 orientation pay
Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

Every two weeks on a planned consistent schedule

Equipment:

Assigned Freightliner or Kenworth ()
APUs on all units

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL age 21
Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school required to enter our paid training program
No major violations in last 3 years
