Job Summary

American Driver is hiring Entry Level CDL A Truck Drivers based in Monroe LA. This is a full-time W2 OTR position open to recent CDL graduates and drivers with limited experience. Youll have a dedicated mentor and a structured path from training to solo driving.

Drivers typically run miles per week and earn between $1200 and $1500 after completing training.

Starting Out:

46 weeks of paid training with a dedicated mentor
Focus on real routes safety inspections and daily operations
Guaranteed weekly pay during training
After training solo pay starts at $0.56 CPM

What This Job Looks Like:

Dry van no-touch freight
About 60% drop and hook
Consistent miles with minimal downtime
Day and night runs depending on dispatch

Pay After Training:

$0.56$0.65 CPM based on experience
Weekly earnings typically $1200$1500
Additional pay for stops layovers and breakdowns
Pay increases every six months
$300 paid orientation
Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

Home every two weeks on a planned schedule

Assigned Freightliner and Kenworth () with APUs

Requirements:

21 with valid Class A CDL
Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school required to enter our paid training program
Open to recent graduates and drivers with 6 months experience
No major violations in last 3 years
No DUI in last 5 years
Must pass urine and hair follicle drug screening
