Job Summary

American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers based in Jackson MS. This position is open to drivers who are new to the industry and looking for a structured start paid training is included and there are no upfront costs.

After training drivers run consistent OTR miles and earn between $1200 and $1500 weekly.

How Training Works:

46 weeks fully paid alongside a dedicated mentor
Covers real freight real routes ELD HOS inspections and daily operations
Weekly pay throughout training
Solo transition at $0.56 CPM after completion

What the Job Looks Like:

Dry van no-touch freight
Approximately 60% drop and hook
Average miles per week
Consistent dispatch minimal downtime
Day and night runs

Pay After Training:

$0.56$0.65 CPM based on experience
Weekly earnings typically $1200$1500
Stop layover and breakdown pay included
Pay review every six months
$300 paid orientation
Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

Home every two weeks on a planned schedule

Equipment:

Assigned Freightliner or Kenworth () with APUs

Requirements:

21 with valid Class A CDL
Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for our paid training program
No major violations in last 3 years
No DUI in last 5 years
