Job Summary

American Driver is recruiting in Athens AL for Class A drivers who are new to the industry and ready to start building a career in OTR trucking.

This is a full-time W2 position. Training is paid the freight is consistent and the equipment is late-model.

Training:

46 weeks with a dedicated mentor fully paid
Hands-on from day one live loads real deadlines
HOS ELD pre/post trip inspections all covered
Weekly pay from the start
Solo driving begins at $0.56 CPM after completion

Freight and Miles:

No-touch dry van
60% drop and hook
miles per week
Eastern routes consistent year-round freight

Pay Structure:

$0.56$0.65 CPM depending on experience
Weekly take-home typically $1200$1500
Additional pay for stops layovers and breakdowns
Pay increase every six months
$300 orientation pay
Direct deposit every Friday

Home Time:

Every two weeks scheduled in advance

Equipment:

Freightliner or Kenworth ()
APUs on all assigned trucks

What You Need:

Class A CDL age 21
Must have completed a minimum of 120 hours of instruction from an accredited CDL school
No major violations in the last 3 years
No DUI in the last 5 years
