Job Summary

American Driver is hiring in Tuscaloosa AL. This position is built for drivers who have their Class A CDL but havent logged significant miles yet. No experience needed we provide a fully paid training program and a mentor who will get you road-ready.

Tuscaloosas position along I-20/I-59 puts you directly on one of the busiest freight corridors in the Southeast.

Training Program:

46 weeks fully paid
One mentor one truck real freight from day one
Covers ELD operation HOS compliance pre/post trip inspections
Weekly pay throughout no waiting
After training solo pay starts at $0.56 CPM

Typical Week:

No-touch dry van freight
60% drop and hook
miles per week
Eastern routes with steady year-round freight
Mix of day and night dispatch

Pay:

$0.56$0.65 CPM
Weekly earnings typically $1200$1500
Extra pay for stops layovers and breakdowns
Six-month pay increase
$300 orientation pay
Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

Home every two weeks on a consistent planned schedule

Equipment:

Freightliner or Kenworth ()
APUs on all units

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL age 21
Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school required to enter our paid training program
No major violations in last 3 years
