Got your CDL but no miles behind you yet American Driver is hiring in Decatur AL and this position was designed exactly for that situation.
Decatur sits in the Tennessee Valley with direct access to I-65 a natural hub for freight moving north and south along the Eastern corridor. Well put you with a mentor get you on real loads and have you running solo when youre ready.
The Training:
- Fully paid 46 week program no cost to you
- Mentor-led live freight from the first week
- Everything covered ELD logbooks inspections customer interaction
- Weekly paycheck throughout the entire program
- Solo transition at $0.56 CPM when training is complete
Life on the Road:
- Dry van freight no touching loads required
- Heavy drop and hook around 60% of runs

The Money:
- Starting CPM $0.56 up to $0.65 with experience
- Take-home typically lands at $1200$1500 weekly

To Get Started:
- Class A CDL required must be 21 or older
- 120 hours of instruction from an accredited truck driving school required to qualify for paid training
