Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and vendors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials manage visitor logs and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the retail location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors back-of-house areas loading zones and the perimeter with duties varying based on location conditions.
• Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by observing activity documenting incidents and communicating notable concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
