Job Summary
Were looking for a detail-driven and motivated accounting professional to join our team and take ownership of month-end close and financial this role youll ensure accuracy compliance and audit readiness while partnering with leadership to analyze financial data and support key business decisions in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month end journal detailed month end income statements and sheet reviews in all accounts for all departments.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations by the 15thof each financial data is presented accurately at a given point in time.
- Monthly standard reporting and unique ad-hoc analysis.
- Maintain adequate supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations for internal and external audit purposes.
- Analyze balance sheet variances.
- Must possess a working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles to ensure departmental processes are in compliance with accounting standards and ensure assets are properly safeguarded.
- Responsible for tracking fixed asset additions and supporting documentation for fixed assets and capital projects.
- Assist in the annual financial and capital budget plan process.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrahs and encourages others to do the same.
- Adheres to all regulatory company and department procedures and policies.
- Interacts with Senior Management during month end close and department financial reviews.
- Serves as secondary Payroll and Receiving specialist as needed.

Qualifications
YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or work experience required.
- Must have strong analytical abilities and be able to work independently
- Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are necessary.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and ability to push pull bend reach twist stoop stack crouch kneel and balance when stacking storing and maneuvering around the work area.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $50K-$60K based on experience.

Shift Details:
Morning Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Off Saturday & Sunday
