Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety maintain imaging standards and follow all regulatory and radiation safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure diagnostic image quality
- Conduct daily equipment calibration and quality control checks prior to patient procedures
- Administer contrast/radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols
- Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation logs and patient records
- Ensure proper handling ordering and verification of radiopharmaceuticals
- Monitor patients before during and after procedures responding to clinical needs
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and interpretation
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and procedures
- Ability to assess patient condition and respond appropriately
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance practices
Education & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
Certifications & Licenses
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T)
- ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Certification to administer contrast/injections
