Job Summary

Summary
- Perform routine treatment procedures as directed.
- Assists Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures.
- Maintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift.
- Complete all equipment set up as directed.
- Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.
- Communicate any patient complaints of pain to patients nurse charge nurse or unit coordinator.
- Assist in and as necessary accompany patient in the admission transfer and discharge procedures.
- Provide and/or assists with personal care as necessary (i.e. baths dressing of patients personal hygiene etc.)
- Assist with patient care such as positioning patient lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics applying/utilizing special equipment as necessary and ambulating the patient as directed.
- Under supervision perform general care activities for patients in isolation.
Schedule
- 60 hours every 2 weeks
- Rotating day evening and night shifts (all shifts)both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Every 3rd weekend
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $19.08 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $19.08 to $25.30 per hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
- Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.
