Summary
We are launching a new greenfield product supported by a newly assembled crossfunctional team. We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to help design and build modern userfocused web applications from the ground up.
This role offers the opportunity to apply frontend best practices and modern frameworks in a new product setting while operating within the quality security and scalability standards of an enterprise environment. You will collaborate closely with a full-stack team to deliver intuitive highquality user experiences from MVP through full production.
- What would you do as our Frontend Software Engineer Design develop and maintain frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 17 (preferred) TypeScript RxJS and component-driven frontend architecture.
- Translate UX designs and product requirements into responsive accessible and maintainable user interfaces
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and data services
- Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and data flows
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions including state management and component design
- Ensure applications meet enterprise standards for performance security and reliability
- Support the transition of MVPs and prototypes into productionready frontend applications
- Participate in code reviews design discussions and technical documentation
- Continuously improve UI performance usability and maintainability
The skills and experience you bring:
- 3 years of professional frontend software development experience
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
- Solid understanding of HTML CSS and responsive design principles
- Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs
- Proven experience supporting a product from MVP or prototype through production release
- Strong attention to UI quality usability and performance
- Ability to collaborate effectively within crossfunctional product teams
What makes you stand out
- Experience working in enterprise development environments
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to design systems or component libraries
- Experience with datadriven or MLenabled user interfaces
- Backend familiarity ( or API design concepts)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is based in Phoenix Arizona. This role interfaces with teams distributed across multiple geographies and functions requiring strong communication and organizational skills. Periodic travel to divisions customer sites events and ASSA ABLOY offices should be expected with domestic or international travel up to 10%.
