The Position:
AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Engineer (ECSTIM Magic Wall)-Junior to support Integrated Combat Environment. The salary range of this position is $82500.00 - $100000.00 and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as an Engineer (ECSTIM Magic Wall)-Junior may include:
- Works alongside a team of electrical engineers/engineering technicians to develop engineering procedures/controls manages project efforts and take the lead in problem resolution
- Interfaces with program contractors vendors and government representatives regarding the technical aspects of engineering projects test scheduling planning and test conduct
- Learns how to troubleshoot prepare for testing and use a sophisticated state-of-the-art RF stimulator
- Identifies system malfunctions and works to resolve the issue(s) with other teammates
Must-haves:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited college/university: Degrees in Physics Mathematics or another engineering field may qualify
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Experience with Linux operating system
- Experience with active and passive RF components
- Experience using electronic test equipment (signal generators network/spectrum analyzers RF amplifiers and oscilloscopes)
- AMEWAS willing to obtain and process full clearance-The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Experience with MATLAB
- A strong understanding of RF Theory
- Experience with RF stimulator/simulators
- Completed RF classes in college

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:
The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work in a lab and an anechoic chamber on site versus in an office. The physical environment may require the employee to work in an office at times looking at a computer for part of the day.
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site or near the work site. On rare occasions overnight travel may be required.
The employee is required to stand walk and/or move throughout the workday often bending over and lifting items up to approximately 50 lbs. This position may also require driving government vehicles.
