What you will do
Perform technical safety reviews of systems processes equipment and operations
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments using structured methodologies
Evaluate safety impacts of system changes modifications and field conditions
Develop and maintain hazard logs risk matrices and mitigation strategies
Provide technical advisory support on safety risks system performance and compliance
Prepare safety reports hazard analyses and technical evaluations
Analyze safety data and trends to identify emerging risks and improvement opportunities
Support audits regulatory reviews and compliance documentation
Participate in field reviews site visits and operational observations
Coordinate with safety engineering operations and maintenance teams
What you bring
5 plus years of experience in safety analysis risk assessment or technical safety roles
Experience in transit transportation infrastructure or regulated environments preferred
Experience conducting hazard analyses or safety assessments
Experience preparing technical reports and documentation
Strong analytical problem-solving and technical writing skills
Working knowledge of safety management systems and risk mitigation practices
Familiarity with OSHA FTA or similar regulatory frameworks
Nice to have
Experience with system safety methods such as hazard analysis or FMEA
Experience supporting rail bus or multimodal transit systems
Certifications such as ASP CSP SMS or engineering licensure
Experience with safety-critical systems or infrastructure
Experience building dashboards or data-driven reporting tools
