Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift Details:
- Day Shift: 5x8-Hour Shifts
- Hours: Between 06:30 AM 06:00 PM (variable start/end times based on unit needs)
- Schedule: Monday Saturday (rotating days)
- Sundays: Off
- Holidays: No work on observed holidays
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating Saturdays
- Block Scheduling: Not Available
- On-Call: Not Required

Job Summary:
We are seeking a CT Technologist for a contract assignment in a high-performing outpatient and acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform CT imaging procedures assist with X-ray coverage as needed and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures including contrast-enhanced studies
- Start IV lines and administer contrast materials
- Conduct lab testing (i-STAT) and ensure patient readiness for imaging
- Post-process imaging studies for radiologist interpretation
- Float to X-ray as needed within scope of practice
- Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols
- Document patient data and procedures accurately using EMR systems
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow
Unit Details:
- Setting: Outpatient clinic within an acute care hospital
- Patient Population: Mostly mobile patients including oncology follow-ups
- Charting System: Epic
- Facility Type: Acute Hospital (Magnet Facility Level II Trauma Center)
- Total Beds: 407
- Scrubs: Provided
- Parking: Free
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Experience in acute or outpatient settings preferred
- Must be comfortable performing IV starts and contrast injections
- Willingness to float to X-ray when needed
Required X-Ray Skills:
- Extremities
- Abdomen/GI
- Spine/Pelvis
- Head/Chest/Thorax
- Musculoskeletal imaging
- Upper and Lower Extremities
Preferred Skills:
- Fluoroscopy studies
- Enema studies
Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT (R) Radiography (required)
- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
