Job Summary: We are seeking a CT Technologist for a contract assignment in a high-performing outpatient and acute care setting. The ideal candidate will perform CT imaging procedures assist with X-ray coverage as needed and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging procedures including contrast-enhanced studies
Start IV lines and administer contrast materials
Conduct lab testing (i-STAT) and ensure patient readiness for imaging
Post-process imaging studies for radiologist interpretation
Float to X-ray as needed within scope of practice
Maintain patient safety and follow radiation safety protocols
Document patient data and procedures accurately using EMR systems
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow
Unit Details:
Setting: Outpatient clinic within an acute care hospital
Patient Population: Mostly mobile patients including oncology follow-ups
Charting System: Epic
Facility Type: Acute Hospital (Magnet Facility Level II Trauma Center)
Total Beds: 407
Scrubs: Provided

Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of CT experience
First-time travelers accepted
Experience in acute or outpatient settings preferred
Must be comfortable performing IV starts and contrast injections
Willingness to float to X-ray when needed
