As a Security Officer - Healthcare Site - Overnight Shift in Ocala FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and support a secure welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Guided by our agile reliable and innovative team you will put people first work with integrity and help to deter security-related incidents through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity monitor access points and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances and exits verifying authorized access when required and addressing questions from employees visitors and vendors in a professional manner.
• Support daily operations by observing activity in lobbies hallways parking areas and other assigned locations while maintaining a visible presence and providing assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in or around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
