Responsibilities
As a Charge Nurse at Community Health System you oversee daily clinical operations and support your care team to ensure safe high quality patient care. You serve as the main liaison for your assigned area working with physicians staffpatientsand families.Youllcoordinate patient flow guidestaffassignmentsand take responsibility for patient safetyqualityand regulatory activities across the unit. Qualifications
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- 2 years of experience as a staff RN in the area of assignment or demonstrated competency by achieving a minimum of 35 points on the RN Competency Model Evaluation form required
- 6 months of experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role required
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
