Job Summary

Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week Varying hours Monday - Friday some weekends required longer shifts possible based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This role involves regular travel between Washtenaw Monroe Western Wayne Livingston and parts of Oakland counties providing Home-Based Care.

What Youll Do in This Role:
Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others As a Home Care Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) providing in-home care youll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Hands-On Care in Their Home Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
Maintain Comfort & Care Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry sweeping and grocery shopping.
Support Mealtime Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
Keep Things Moving Support mobility including turning positioning and safe transfers.
Perform Vital Checks Measure and record vital signs weight and intake/output.
Maintain Comfort & Care Keep rooms tidy cozy and well-stocked with essentials.
Provide Responsive Support Respond with kindness and compassion.
Monitor with Watchful Eyes Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

High School Diploma or GED.
Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan.
Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Flexibility to provide coverage in the evening and on weekends.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly.
CPR certification is desired or obtained within 3 months of employment.
