Position Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Houston TX

Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM 05:00 PM

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation treatments to patients with cancer and other medical conditions. This role involves close collaboration with physicians nurses and medical physicists to ensure safe accurate and effective treatment delivery while providing compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician directives
• Perform patient simulation and ensure precise positioning for treatment accuracy
• Conduct basic dosimetric calculations as required
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment including LINAC (Linear Accelerator) machines
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
• Educate patients on treatment procedures expectations and potential side effects
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient treatment documentation
• Collaborate with oncologists medical physicists and nursing staff to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
• Active Radiation Therapist license (as required by state regulations)
• Certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT or equivalent)
• Hands-on experience with LINAC equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to perform dosimetric calculations and treatment simulations
