Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Director RE Delivery - Americas; this Hybrid positionwill be in New Brunswick NJ (USA). Alternate Hybrid locations may be considered at Raynham MA (USA) Raritan NJ (USA) or West Chester PA (USA).

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies as may be required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position it is anticipated that following conclusion of the transaction you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes programs policies and benefit that case details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Position Summary:

The Director Real Estate Delivery Americas is accountable for theendtoendexecution of real estate transactions projects and portfolio initiativesacross the Americas region. This role leads regional delivery teams and partners to execute DPSs global real estate strategy withspeed discipline and financial rigor while ensuring compliance with governance standards and approval frameworks.

Operating as theprimary execution owner for the Americas this role translates global strategy and standards intoonthegrounddelivery balancing business urgency cost discipline and risk management across a diverse portfolio of office R&D manufacturing and residential assets.The role partners closely with business operations finance and EHSS leaders to supportbusiness continuityworkplace effectiveness andlongterminfrastructure strategy including growth transformation and portfolio optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Real Estate Delivery Leadership:

  • Own and leadreal estate delivery across the Americas ensuring transactions and projects are executed on time on budget and to standard.

  • Serve as thesingle point of accountabilityfor regional execution performance.

  • Lead and develop regional RE delivery teams and matrixed partners.

  • Drivestandardization governance andbestpracticesharingacross RE delivery teams to improve speed quality and controls.

Transaction & Portfolio Execution:

  • Execute real estate transactions includingleases renewals expansions exits dispositions and residential housing arrangements.

  • Partner with Governance & Strategy onbusiness cases approvals and prioritization ensuring alignment to global strategy.

  • Manage lease administration activities and ensureaccuratedocumentation and compliance.

Project Execution & Performance Management:

  • Overseeproject executionacross the region ensuring adherence to scope cost schedule and quality expectations.

  • Applybest practices standardized delivery models and performance management disciplinesacross projects.

  • Identifyand proactively manage execution risks and issues.

Strategic Space & Site Delivery:

  • Deliverstrategic space planning and site initiativesalignedtoworkplace standards and portfolio strategy.

  • Partner with Property Services and FM to ensure seamless handoff from project delivery to operations.

  • Support site changes consolidations expansions and relocations.

Compliance & Governance Adherence:

  • Ensure all regional activitiescomply withglobal RE governanceapprovalthresholds and controls.

  • Act as the regional escalation point for compliance execution risk and delivery challenges.

  • Maintainauditreadydocumentation and adherence to internal controls.

  • Deliver projects and services in compliance with applicablesafety quality regulatory and company standards; partner with EHSS to embed safe execution.

Stakeholder & Supplier Management:

Experience & Education

  • 12 years of experience incorporate real estate delivery transactions or project management

  • Experience leadingregional portfoliosin a global enterprise

  • Bachelors degree; advanced degree preferred

  • Proven ability to lead through influence in a global matrixed organization and manage multiple concurrent initiatives across diverse geographies and time zones.

Preferred:

  • Masters degree (MBA or equivalent).

  • Experience leading regional portfolios in a global enterprise.

  • Background in medicaldevicepharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.

  • Experience with workplace strategy site consolidation or portfolio optimization initiatives.

  • Familiarity with sustainability energy efficiency or green building standards.

  • Executivelevelpresentation negotiation stakeholder management and change leadership capabilities.

  • Certifications such as PMP or similar project/real estate credentials.

  • Additionalregional languages.

Other:

  • Travel up to 50% including international travel across Americas.

  • Languages: English; Spanish or Portuguese preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150000.00 - $258750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans employees are eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Companys long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay including Floating Holidays 13 days per calendar year

Work Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
