Supervises in-house school custodial program. Coordinates maintenance and custodial services between schools personnel vendors and contractors. Monitors custodial expenses. Develops custodial training program and standard operating procedures for the in-house custodial program.
Essential Functions
1. Inspects in-house custodial schools and meets with school Principals to address custodial issues.
2. Create and maintain a training program train custodial personnel on custodial work.
3. Assist Principal with coordinating work assignments and scheduling.
4. Assists Principal and other departments with Custodial purchases and logistics on delivery and use
5. Assists Principal with hiring custodians performance evaluations recommended mentoring or discipline.
6. Prepares and reviews reports studies and contract documents.
7. Tracks and evaluates program efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Prepares operating budgets authorizes and monitors expenses and prepares financial reports and summaries.
9. Assists in the development review implementation and interpretation of departmental policies.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent with additional coursework (college workshops) in maintenance of facilities. Bachelors degree preferred in Business Management or related field from an accredited college or university. Experience can be substituted for post-secondary education with a required high school diploma.
Experience:Required: Four (4) years experience managing planning and/or coordinating Custodial at a commercial level.
Certifications & Licenses:Preferred: Possess a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
