Maintenance Mechanic

• Perform preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.

• Diagnose mechanical issues by observing equipment operation and identifying the root cause of failures.

• Dismantle inspect repair and replace defective machinery components.

• Measure and evaluate worn parts to determine repair or replacement requirements.

• Adjust equipment and control systems using hand tools levels and precision measuring devices.

• Fabricate modify and install replacement parts using machine shop equipment and metalworking tools.

• Operate equipment such as lathes drill presses grinders and related shop machinery.

• Test lubricate and maintain equipment to verify safe and effective operation.

• Order maintenance parts and supplies as needed to support repair activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting maintenance and repair skills required.

• Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions diagrams and technical documentation required.

• Experience using hand tools measuring devices and machine shop equipment required.

• Basic mathematical skills including measurements formulas and geometric calculations required.

• Ability to identify problems and apply practical solutions in a manufacturing environment required.

• Basic computer skills for entering maintenance and timekeeping data required.

• 24 years of industrial building or equipment maintenance experience required.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• This position requires access to export-controlled information. Applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
