Customs Foreman
Job Summary
We are seeking a Customs Foreman who will be responsible for supervising customs-related operations to ensure cargo clearance inspection and movement are carried out efficiently and in compliance with customs regulations port procedures and company policies.
- Supervise daily customs clearance and cargo inspection activities
- Coordinate with customs officials port authorities and clearing agents
- Ensure all customs documentation is complete and accurate
- Monitor cargo movement in bonded and non-bonded areas
- Allocate work to customs clerks and laborers and monitor performance
- Ensure compliance with customs laws port rules and security procedures
- Resolve clearance issues delays and documentation discrepancies
- Maintain records of cleared pending and detained cargo
- Support inspections audits and customs examinations
- Prepare daily activity and status reports for management
- Ensure safety security and proper housekeeping in customs areas
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelors degree in Logistics Business or related field preferred
- 58 years experience in customs clearance port or logistics operations
- Previous experience as Customs Foreman / Supervisor is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation
- Familiarity with bonded warehouse operations and port systems
Required Skills:
