Job Summary
We are seeking a Cargo Laborer who will be responsible for manual handling loading unloading and movement of cargo and materials in a safe and efficient manner supporting overall cargo and logistics operations.
- Load and unload cargo from vessels trucks and containers
- Carry stack and arrange cargo as instructed
- Assist in securing cargo using straps ropes or other methods
- Support tally clerks and supervisors during cargo operations
- Follow safety instructions and use PPE at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Report damaged cargo or unsafe conditions immediately
- Assist with basic packing unpacking and labeling of cargo
- Support yard warehouse and port operations as required
Requirements
- Basic education preferred
- 02 years experience in cargo handling or labor work preferred
- Experience in port warehouse or yard operations is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime
