At MilDef we deliver rugged secure IT solutions for demanding environments worldwide. As we continue to grow globally we are strengthening our sales team with an experienced and driven Sales Manager to accelerate growth and expand our market presence.

The Sales Manager drives sales performance across defined accounts territories or segments. The mix between new business development and management of existing accounts is sorted through the allocation of accounts territory or segment to the Sales Manager. The allocation may include Key Account Manager responsibilities. The Sales Manager is key for executing regional sales strategies managing customer relationships and contributing to pipeline growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships within assigned accounts. Collaborate with the Key Account Manager (KAM) where applicable to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Create and execute account plans that align customer needs with company objectives. Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize account value.

  • Support business growth through proactive engagement solution selling and strategic account development.

  • Execute sales activities in line with account plans and regional strategy.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Marketing Product Management Legal Production) to support deal execution and ensure customer needs are met. Share insights on market trends and customer requirements.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide timely reporting of pipeline and forecasts.

  • Represent the company at customer meetings trade shows and events.

  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

  • Strong business development skills with a proactive opportunity-driven mindset

  • Excellent relationship-building and customer engagement skills

  • Ability to qualify and prioritize opportunities effectively

  • Structured in pipeline management and forecasting

  • Clear and confident communication and presentation skills

  • Results-driven with a focus on growth and long-term success

  • Understands the defence sector landscape procurement cycles and competitive dynamics.

The role is based at our Helsingborg office and includes travel to customers as well as to our offices in Rosersberg and at Vasagatan in central Stockholm. Travel will take place both within Sweden and internationally.
