Role & Responsibilities
Your role:
You will be in charge of a portfolio of DACH content partners reporting to our Head of Content DACH.
Your responsibilities :
Within a company whose activity depends directly on the content provided to us by the publishers who trust us to distribute their titles you will hold a key position:
You will be responsible for maintaining daily relations with our 500 partner publishers and ensuring their satisfaction.
As a Partnerships and content acquisition Manager you will help to grow the network of publishers/content providers working with Readly by Cafeyn. As a member of the Content team reporting to the DACH Head of Content you will develop negotiate and manage relationships with brand new publishers while providing account management and ongoing support to our valuable publishers already working with Readly by Cafeyn. You will be the expert in the DACH publishing industry monitoring market activity and keeping the business up to date with developments.
Your missions :
Increase and expand the number of our publishers and content providers in the DACH market and in others Readly by Cafeyn-related countries when required
Prospect new magazine/newspapers publishers missing from existing portfolio
Own the end-to-end onboarding process of new content from identifying new publishers researching and developing leads pitching negotiation of contract and signing the new publisher
Maintain build and nurture relationship with existing publishers accounts to make sure they are Readly by Cafeyns biggest fans
Remain aware of our competitors offering keeping benchmark up to date
Identify and attend key media events to promote Readly by Cafeyn within the media community
Work with publishers to understand their objectives/ needs creating loyalty and a collaborative partnership including content and marketing plans.
Maintain KPIs and reporting to support us in our international development and growth of relevant markets
Collaborate effectively with Legal Marketing Editorial Business Development Product and Technical teams to launch new partnerships and support overall company strategy/objectives
Requirements :
You are in the right place if you have :
Solid account management and relationship management skills
Experience in business/contract negotiation
Proactive with excellent stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage your local market independently while being part of the international content team
An interest in magazines and newspapers
Excellent written and spoken English
Youd be the perfect fit if :
You have experience of working in the DACH magazine/newspaper market
Knowledge of the evolving dynamics of the digital newspaper and magazine industry
