What youll be doing
Youll play a central role in delivering highquality teaching acrossLevels 25 working with fulltime students parttime learners and apprentices. Your teaching will primarily focus on workshopbased engineering skills but youll also contribute to a broader curriculum that prepares learners for realworld industry demands.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching and assessinga range of Engineering courses from Levels 25 adapting your approach to suit different learner groups and abilities.
Delivering specialist unitswithin the BTEC Engineering framework which may include:
Embedding essential themesacross your teaching including equality and cultural awareness sustainability safeguarding Every Citizen Matters and the development of English and Maths skills.
Working collaborativelywith the wider Team Around the Learner including the Head of Engineering fellow lecturers the Workshop Manager Instructors and Technicians to ensure practical and theoretical learning experiences are wellcoordinated and consistently delivered.
Providing dedicated tutorial support both in groups and onetoone helping learners stay motivated overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

This teaching role and course is eligible for levelling up premium payments you could qualify to receive an extra payment of up to 6000 per year after tax.This payment is separate from teachers pay.
