Job Title: Assembler
Location: Morgan City LA 70380 (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
XXXX: $19 $22/hour on W2
Shift: 4x12-hour day shifts 1 weekend every other week
rare situations where overnight is required and there is a shift differential for $2/hr for these instances
Note: Local candidates only onsite interviews required

Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for safely disassembling assembling and testing drilling equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks with minimal supervision
• Clean deburr drill and tap components
• Ensure proper fit and alignment of parts
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use SAP R3 to access work orders prints and bills of materials
• Review routings and follow specifications accurately
• Assist with rigging operations as needed
• Follow all safety (HSE) and quality procedures
• Adhere to assigned work schedules including weekends/holidays if required

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of experience working with drilling equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Industry-recognized certifications (required):
  • Fall Protection
  • Overhead Crane
  • Forklift

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry materials as required
• Comfortable working at heights climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces
• Ability to operate hand tools (up to 25 lbs)
• Strong balance coordination and manual dexterity
• Must have valid drivers license

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor work (day/night shifts)
• Exposure to extreme temperatures humidity and loud noise (>85 dB)
• Work at heights near water and in confined spaces
• Exposure to dust welding gases and other airborne particles

Safety Requirements

• Must bring steel-toed lace-up boots
• Hard hat and safety glasses will be provided
• Additional PPE required as needed (hearing head eye protection)
