Test Engineer

JOB TITLE: Test Engineer
LOCATION: White Sands Missile Range NM
PAY RATE: $35/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim required to start; U.S. Citizenship required)

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary

Summary:

• Design and implement test methods and equipment

• Plan and coordinate labor schedules and test resources

• Define test parameters and procedures for standard and specialized testing

• Execute testing on customer samples and non-standard test cases

• Compile and analyze test data to identify improvements

• Recommend changes to test equipment procedures and manufacturing processes

• Support testing in both lab and field environments including remote locations

• Operate and maintain test equipment and technical tools

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (interim required to start; U.S. Citizenship required)

• Bachelors degree in a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

• Proficiency with Windows-based applications

• Strong communication teamwork and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in dynamic environments

• Experience using test equipment (multimeters oscilloscopes etc.)

• Experience with technical hand tools (wire strippers connectors repair tools)

• Ability to obtain CMV certification and safely operate/tow vehicles and trailers

• Ability to work in physically demanding and remote environments

• Understanding of safety security and environmental compliance procedures
