SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Requirements:

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP development in ECC and SAP HANA systems. Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA concepts such as CDS Views AMDP and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Reports (Classical/Interactive/ALV) Module Pool and Dialog Programming.
• Experience with SmartForms SAP Scripts and Adobe Forms.
• Strong knowledge of Enhancements BADIs BAPIs User/Customer Exits.
• Experience in Interfaces: IDocs RFC OData Proxy and file-based integration.
• Exposure to S/4HANA migration or support projects is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities: Design develop and enhance ABAP objects including Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements and Forms (RICEF). Develop and optimize custom ABAP programs in SAP ECC and SAP HANA environments.

Work on ABAP on HANA concepts including CDS Views AMDP Open SQL optimization and performance tuning. Develop and support ALV reports Module Pool programs Dialog programming and background jobs. Create and maintain SmartForms SAP Scripts and Adobe Forms. Work on Enhancements and Modifications using User Exits Customer Exits BADIs BAPIs and enhancement frameworks. Develop and support Interfaces using IDocs RFCs Proxy OData services and file-based integrations. Collaborate with functional teams (FI MM SD PP HR etc.) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform unit testing support UAT and assist in production issue resolution. Ensure compliance with coding standards documentation and SAP best practices. Participate in code reviews knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Descriptions: Experience on with ABAP cloud ECC along with S4 -Independent Programming with Open SQL ABAP managed database procedures Database level operations Views and ABAP with Unified Data Modeling and Definition with Core Data Services and Consuming CDS Views in ABAP with Simplified Control with ABAP-Managed Database Knowledge of SAP HANA Platform Code-to-Data paradigm Eclipse platform OData modeling techniques (CDS views usage AMDP calculation views analytic views attribute views decision tables filtering concepts CE functions etc). Knowledge on HANA studio standard HANA administration tasks SLT SQL Procedures Modeling Schemas System tables common SAP and HANA standard daily weekly monthly maintenance Provide general technical support for end user on UI5 based applications running on HANA platform. ( Development Experience required) on FIORI.
