Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and flexible Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient acute care services across multiple hospital settings. This regional role offers a dynamic work environment allowing clinicians to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services while rotating between two facilities within the same healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute care setting
- Perform patient evaluations develop individualized treatment plans and implement therapeutic interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
- Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans recovery goals and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records
- Full-time schedule: 36 40 hours per week with flexibility
- Work split between two facilities (e.g. 3 days at one location 2 days at another or vice versa)
- Day shift with some weekend coverage (including at least one weekend day flexible scheduling)
- Active state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant inpatient experience preferred
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred
- Ability to adapt to multiple clinical environments and patient populations
- Start is contingent upon successful completion of required EMR testing
- Holiday coverage may be required
