Position Summary:
The Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive care for patients with digestive system disorders including diagnosis treatment and ongoing management. This role involves performing advanced endoscopic procedures in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings while collaborating closely with primary care providers and specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal conditions
- Perform endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures with a high level of proficiency
- Conduct and interpret specialized diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Review and analyze patient medical histories to guide care decisions
- Provide consultations in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Demonstrated proficiency in endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
