Travel Radiology Technologist

Location: Dulce NM 875228
Pay Rate: $47 per hour plus $1.246 weekly stipends (if applicable)
Schedule: Monday Friday
40 hours per week 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Schedule may vary based on facility needs
Contract Length: 1 year with the option to extend
Benefits: $5.09 per hour for Health and Welfare 10 days PTO Accrued sick days and 11 Paid Holidays.

Requirements:

Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
-
Current ARRT certification
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging (including trauma or general X-ray)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications
-
Knowledge of radiation safety universal precautions and phlebotomy
-
Experience with RPMS or similar electronic health record systems preferred
Responsibilities:
-
Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray and bone density) as ordered by providers
-
Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques to ensure optimal results
-
Ensure patient safety by following radiation protection protocols and infection control standards
-
Review and interpret imaging requests ensuring proper execution of physician orders
-
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment reporting malfunctions and coordinating repairs as needed
-
Assist in emergency situations including providing first aid and CPR support when required
-
Maintain accurate patient records imaging logs and reports within the RPMS system
-
Coordinate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of results
-
Manage imaging supplies and assist with inventory control
-
Support laboratory functions including specimen collection (phlebotomy) and processing
-
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures easing concerns and ensuring comfort
-
Train and support staff as needed in radiologic procedures and safety protocols

Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and implement improvements when appropriate
