Urgent Hiring Back-end Engineer (Kotlin) Minnesota (On-site from Day 1)

Position Details

Title: Back-end Engineer (Kotlin)
Client: Target
Location: Brooklyn Park MN (2 days onsite Day 1 Onsite Mandatory) Need local only
Duration: Initial 6 months contract (high possibility of extension)
Rate: $65-70/hr.
Visa: US Citizen & Green Card Holders only
Interview Mode: Video Second round will be F2F as per the client demand otherwise Video

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
Work extensively with Kotlin and contribute to legacy Java applications
Build and enhance APIs for internal systems with high performance and reliability
Debug complex issues and ensure smooth system functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system improvements

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience in Kotlin and Java
8 years of experience in backend development (non-negotiable)
Proven expertise in designing and implementing APIs for internal systems
Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
Experience with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
Solid understanding of data handling and backend architecture

Important Note

Candidates must be comfortable working onsite from Day 1 (no exceptions)
