Senior Java Engineer supporting modernization of legacy financial services platform into cloud-native microservices on Azure using Java Spring Boot Kafka Kubernetes moving from lift-and-shift to cloud-native architecture highly transactional backend system work
Must:
8 years software engineering 5 years designing/building apps independently
Strong Java (Java 21 preferred)
Microservices architecture experience
Cloud-native development (Azure preferred not mandatory)
Kubernetes required
Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals
Experience with highly transactional concurrent backend systems
Strong backend database skills
Day-to-day Java development (not just oversight)
