Role Overview We are seeking a technically strong Business Analyst Lead to support a high-impact credit decisioning initiative for credit card and consumer loan products within the Credit Karma marketing channel. Although positioned as a non-IT BA role this position operates at the intersection of business data and rule-based decisioning systems. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders rule configuration teams and data environments to support approval logic and eligibility criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and support credit decisioning rules within the Credit Karma partner bank interface
Translate business credit policies into structured rules and validation logic
Perform data validation and analysis using Python (pandas NumPy DataFrames)
Validate approval decline referral and eligibility decisioning logic
Work with credit bureau data credit reports and score-based decision frameworks
Partner with business technical and rule owners to ensure alignment and accuracy
Document requirements current/future state processes and rule logic
Support testing troubleshooting and issue resolution for decisioning workflows
Required Qualifications:
Strong Python skills with a focus on data analysis and validation
Experience with structured data manipulation (pandas NumPy)
Functional knowledge of U.S. banking credit cards or consumer lending
Understanding of credit reports credit scores and bureau data flows
Ability to interpret and implement business and decisioning rules
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
Ability to work in a cross-functional business-technical environment
Background in banking fintech or credit risk/decisioning environments
Familiarity with approval/eligibility workflows in lending systems
Experience with SQL and/or SAS
Prior exposure to credit risk analytics or bureau reporting
