Are you a native Arabic speaker with a deep understanding of local food and solid English comprehension Welo Data is seeking contributors for a global food delivery project.

In this freelance role you will review restaurant menu items written in Arabic and classify them using a standardized taxonomy in Americanized English. Your cultural knowledge and linguistic skills will directly help enhance food category recognition across diverse global markets.

What You Will Do

• Read & Review: Analyze the name category and description of menu items written in Arabic.
• Confirm Context: Check the item photo (if available) to visually verify the food type.
• Classify (Dish Label): Assign the most accurate Dish Label from an English-language taxonomy dropdown (e.g. searching keywords like pasta or grilled chicken).
• Categorize (Course Label): Select the appropriate Course Label in English (e.g. Appetizer Main Course Side Dish Dessert Beverage Other).
• Add Contextual Notes: Provide a brief note for any items that seem unclear ambiguous or highly localized to ensure no data row is left blank.

• Status: ASAP
• Duration: 12 hours total (up to a maximum of 10 hours)

• Pay Rate: 18.00 $ (per hour)

• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using a web browser to navigate structured data entry tasks.
• Detail-Oriented: A commitment to providing consistent highly accurate and quality work.
• Prompt Availability: Ability to complete the assignment within 12 business days after receiving system access.
