The Coordinator of Professional Learning leads the design implementation and continuous improvement of a comprehensive divisionwide professional learning system aligned to strategic priorities. This role ensures professional learning is research-based job-embedded and responsive to the diverse needs of staff. The Coordinator develops and facilitates high-quality learning experiences applies best practices in adult learning and partners across departments to ensure coherence and alignment.
Working collaboratively with the Director of Professional Learning the Coordinator also manages multiple high-impact initiatives supports the planning and execution of key professional learning events and monitors effectiveness through data analysis and feedback. By evaluating engagement implementation and outcomes the role drives continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops implements and oversees divisionwide professional learning systems aligned to strategic priorities.
- Leads and manages multiple high-impact initiatives concurrently ensuring coherence alignment and on-time execution.
- Researches and applies emerging trends and best practices in adult learning to ensure strategies are evidence-based and aligned to organizational goals.
- Designs coordinates and leads professional learning experiences that advance key initiatives.
- Ensures professional learning is job-embedded scalable and tailored to diverse roles and school contexts.
- Partners across departments to deliver cohesive integrated professional learning aligned to division priorities.
- Assists the Director of Professional Learning with the planning and implementation of key professional learning events throughout the year
- Monitors engagement implementation fidelity and impact of professional learning using data and feedback to continuously improve offerings.
- Analyzes participation metrics feedback implementation data observations and student outcomes to identify needs inform resource allocation and assess return on investment.
- Supervises Instructional Coaches as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Masters Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Currently possesses a Virginia Collegiate Professional or Postgraduate Professional License within the specific endorsement area(s) of Administration and Supervision PreK-12
- Experience in leadership and supervision at the building or division level
- Experience delivering professional learning
