Manufacturing Engineer Special Processes is responsible for supporting and improving special process activities related to industrial gas turbine component repair including thermal spraying heat treatment and chemical stripping. The role focuses on process qualification operational support safety and quality compliance and continuous improvement to achieve business and customer requirements.Job Description
What Youll Do
- Support and improve special processes used in gas turbine component repair includingthermal spraying heat treatment and chemical stripping
- Conductprocess qualification and cross-qualificationactivities
- Help drive improvements insafety quality delivery and cost
- Ensure compliance withengineering specifications quality standards and EHS requirements
- Partner with Engineering Quality and Operations teams to resolve technical and process issues
- Troubleshoot production challenges usingroot cause analysis and structured problem solving
- Identify and implement projects that improveprocess performance and production quality
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Mechanical or Materials Engineering from a recognized university is essential
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in special processes such as thermal spraying heat treatment or chemical processing ideally withinmanufacturing aviation or an advanced industrial repair environment is essential
- Familiarity with process qualification validation and compliance
- Ability to interpret drawings specifications and quality standards

- Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering Quality and Operations teams.
