Your Role at Sephora:

Ready for a career glow up As Senior Director Marketing Data Science youll be responsible for building and evolving a strong foundation of data data models insights and innovation to power Sephoras CRM and personalization strategy. The work you do will impact beauty as you enable datadriven decisioning advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities that drive longterm client lifetime value and engagement. Youll manage and lead a highperforming data science team thats united in beauty supported by those who are equally passionate about personalization marketing technology and clientcentric growth.

What Youll Do:

• Establish Marketing Data Science as a strategic asset that powers CRM personalization and marketing decisioning
• Lead the development of advanced predictive models including CLV propensity churn and 1:1 client targeting
• Partner closely with Technology and Machine Learning teams to build bestinclass decisioning and data science capabilities
• Lead a team of 10 (4 direct reports 6 indirect reports)
• Own the machine learning roadmap to ensure scalability operational excellence and longterm business value
• Drive a culture of experimentation through A/B testing and iterative optimization to translate insights into action
• Lead data foundation and governance efforts for Marketing ensuring quality transformation and enterprise alignment
• Serve as the center of excellence for Marketing data and analytics needs across the organization
• Guide innovative CRM and personalization analytics to measure performance and effectiveness
• Deliver advanced insights that inform client engagement strategy and longterm growth initiatives
• Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders with broad visibility and enterprise impact
• Hire lead coach and develop a highperforming Marketing Data Science team
• Influence crossfunctional partners through strong storytelling data fluency and collaboration
• Champion datadriven decisionmaking and clientcentric thinking across Sephora

What Youll Bring:

• 12 years of experience in marketing data science analytics or data architecture leadership roles
• Deep expertise in statistical modeling predictive analytics forecasting and optimization techniques
• Demonstrated experience building and scaling machine learning models for CRM and personalization use cases
• Strong background in lifecycle marketing analytics segmentation and client lifetime value modeling
• Proven ability to lead inspire and develop diverse highperforming teams
• Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and crossfunctional partners
• Excellent written verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong storytelling ability
• Ability to operate effectively in fastpaced ambiguous and evolving environments
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Analytics or a related field
• High level of initiative adaptability and problemsolving mindset
• Passion for innovation experimentation and building scalable data solutions
